Cezar, The World`s First Sheep Cat

Is it a sheep, or maybe it is a rug? Nope, it is Cezar, the world`s first sheep cat! He is amazing!

Meet Cezar, the first Sheep Cat in the entire world. No, this is no joke. Cezar is a Persian cat breed from Serbia. Cezar has seriously long hair, making him look like well,  a cute sheep. He is also becoming very famous on Instagram, and he is a clear example that being Instafamous comes with a few drawbacks. He has to have his lovely fur trimmed back regularly. Let’s face it, he does looks pretty annoyed, doesn’t he? How do you prefer his beautiful hair, long or short?

Meet Cezar!

The Persian is a really old cat breed. To those who love these elegant cats, it will come as no surprise that the long haired beauty originated from the cradle of civilization, Mesopotamia, later known as Persia and is now is Iran. The breed’s long hair was presumably a result of a natural mutation. Its striking appearance attracted the attention of a 17th century Italian nobleman and world traveler too Pietro Della Valle, who is credited for bringing the first long haired cats to Europe in the 17th century.

Cezar loves to cuddle and play. He can be naughty sometimes and bite a little bit, but it`s all a part of his lovely personality!

Persian cats are usually quite quiet and sweet. A Persian is an ornament to any home where she can enjoy sitting in your lap, surely her rightful place, cuddling with those who are discerning enough to recognize her superior qualities. They love to play with kind children who will gently comb her hair, wheel her around in a baby buggy, and serve her tea at their parties too. Persians are affectionate cats but very discriminating though. They reserve their attention for their family members and also for those few guests whom they feel they can trust.
