An elderly cat went outside to play and when she came back, she brought company! She came back with a baby kitten that no body saw before!
After some people have children, it can be really difficult for them to let go of their parental instincts. Even after their kids are well into adulthood, they may still find themselves wanting to care for the young ones. “Empty nest” syndrome is actually a very real thing! Pets are certainly no exception too! Posey the cat, had the same kind of maternal instincts as any other animal, and after her three kittens went into different homes, those feelings never quite disappeared. Luckily, fate had something else in store for elderly cat Posey. What happened next proves that she still has a lot to offer when it comes to her maternal instincts and taking care of others!
One day, a stray kitty wandered right into Claudia Wright’s home. along with her baby three kittens. Right away, Claudia became fond of this elderly cat, whom she named Posey. She immediately adopted her and found loving families for all of her kittens!
Posey was still as curious as always, and she loved to go outside to explore and play. One afternoon, when Claudia returned home she saw that Posey brought in someone special, an abandoned baby kitten.
Posey still had really powerful maternal instincts, because she brought in a tiny 7 week old stray kitten who Claudia later named Meesy. “I guess she must missed having a baby around and found one who needed a mum,” Claudia says!
“The kitten is not from our neighborhood,” Claudia continues. “I already checked that the baby kitty does not belong to anybody. Meesy probably got separated from her mother and Posey decided to adopt her”.
Now Claudia’s family has a new furry member, and Posey could not be happier! “They really love each other,” says Claudia. “They also have completely adopted each other and are like mother and daughter”.
