Meet Storm, a good dog who jumped into water to save a little baby deer from drowning! Scroll down for the video!
Meet Storm, the good dog who did not hesitate a second when he saw an unidentified animal drowning in the water and came to the rescue. As Storm approached the helpless creature, it turned out to be an injured little baby deer.
The whole incident happened when Storm’s owner, Mike Freeley, was taking a walk with his beloved dogs on a beach. As soon as Storm got into action, his human parent started filming the whole scene. We see the dog gently dragging the deer in his mouth, just like how he would do with a little puppy.
Even when they were on the shore, the pooch stayed by her side and also licked her to keep the poor thing safe and warm too. The dog and his owner were there until the representatives from Strong Island Animal Rescue arrived to take the baby deer to safety.
The rescuers from the shelter also had some trouble with the disoriented deer when she jumped into the water and then started drowning again. This time, a volunteer named Frankie Floridia went to get her out and save her.
Most importantly, the cute baby deer is getting all the medical attention she needs and is going to make a full recovery. And it is all thanks to the rescuers, and also one very brave good dog.
It is so nice to hear stories like this one. A beautiful happy ending for all. The baby deer is going to be just alright. This sweet dog just showed us once again how animals are brave and full of love and compassion. This story really warms my heart! All the best to them and good job Storm!
