A huge and hairy, scary animal carcass washes up ashore on a Philippines beach and leaves locals confused and scared!
On the afternoon of the February 22, 2017 a scary sea creature washes up ashore. Locals quickly started posting pictures of an unidentified, hairy, white mass on social medias. These pictures were picked up by various news channels since then. The carcass resembles a huge, hairy, scary creature. Some were saying that it looks like an overgrown Shih Tzu dog and others were comparing it to the fictional Appa, a character from a show.
With this strange discovery, the beach in Cagdainao, Dinagat Islands, Philippines is full of people that are clicking selfies with this carcass and also trying to figure out what it actually is. According to the Inquirer, Sufenia Chua of the Cagdianao Municipal Agriculture Office said that the huge, hairy 15 feet long carcass is a sea cow. The Daily Mail also reports that local scientists actually confirmed that this is not some strange, scary sea monster but a sea cow carcass in advanced stages of decomposition.
This, however, did not stop the people from clicking pictures with it or speculating about it. These images went viral all over social medias all over the world. Some websites even claimed that the globster (unidentified sea creatures) is really the mythical Yeti or even an alien.
Several unusual creatures were washing up on the beaches of some tropical islands following a quake on Sunday. Such globster sightings, however, are not really rare as one might think. Last year in December, a huge globster also washed up ashore in New Zealand. This scary sea cow was actually not coming alone to the shore. Some locals in Agusan del Norte, actually found a terrifying long serpent like creature lying on their beach. It does look quite scary, doesn`t it?
