Tiger Rescued From Circus Gets A Happy Ending

Tiger named Aasha got rescued from a traveling circus. Aasha spent almost her whole life doing tricks and living a miserable life.

Aasha is a Bengal tiger and her whole life she has been mistreated. Not only she was forced to do things she did not want to but she was also picked on by another tiger. She spend her whole life sad and abused and in the end she got sick. When she was rescued she was nine moths old and was supposed to weight around 120 pounds but she weighted only 30 pounds which is appropriate for a three month cub.

Meet Aasha, a Bengal tiger. When they saved her from the circus she was very, very sick.

She lost so much weight and her coat was half gone. Her entire body and skin was so dry with multiply areas bleeding. She had so many open wounds, they were probably bite marks from another larger tiger. A veterinarian confirmed  that the poor tiger had ringworms also. So they took her to an isolated enclosure at In-Sync Exotics.

Vicky Keahey, the founder of the Texas In-Sync Exotics Wildlife Rescue and Educational Center, took her under her care in 2011 and saved her life. “Every day, twice a day, I would go in and give Aasha her medications and spend some time with her” Keahey said. Aasha was having special medical baths everyday to help her to grow her fur back. After a few weeks the hard work started paying off. She was doing much better and her hair was growing once again.

Look at Aasha enjoying her baths since she realized that they were helping her get better.

After eight months Aasha finally looked like a real tiger. She was healthy and happy. They introduced her to another bigger tiger Smuggler and they fell in love straight away.

He was doing all sorts of things to impress her and two of them are inseparable ever since. The two of them are now living their lives as one happy couple and growing old together.
